Kooth is a free, safe anonymous online counselling and support service for children and young people aged 10 to 25. It’s open until 10pm every evening, 365 days a year. Young people can access Kooth’s counselling service, self help resources, peer to peer forums and interesting articles written by young people for young people.
Noah’s Ark Centre offer a confidential safe space in which to explore issues and feelings with a person who neither judges nor offers advice. This is available to children and young people aged 5 to 21.
Rainbows is a structured programme for children aged 4-10 to help them talk through their feelings with other children who are experiencing loss such as death or divorce in their family. The Rainbows programme helps by providing a safe setting with adult facilitators and materials, journals, storybooks, games and creative activities to help lead them gently through the grieving process. Time 2 Talk is delivered by Relate and is for children and young people aged 10 to 24 who might be experiencing problems at school, issues at home or generally not feeling like themselves. Time 2 Talk welcome self referrals Phone: 0300 100 1234.
Embrace help children and young people up to 18 years who have suffered trauma after witnessing or being a victim of domestic violence, sexual abuse, neglect and other serious crime. They help rebuild lives by providing a range of support services that are right for them. Phone: 0345 60 999 60.
West Yorkshire & Harrogate Suicide Bereavement Service supports people after a suicide of someone you care about. Queries and questions can be answered on Phone: 0113 3055 800.

Kirklees & Calderdale Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre offers support services for individuals who have been affected by sexual and domestic violence for both female and males over the age of 13 years. KCRASAC are here to listen and can offer support and advice to victim-survivors, family members, friends and partners, as well as signposting and referring to other appropriate services.
