For most children moving from one school to another can be an exciting opportunity but for others, it can bring worry, pressure and stress, which can impact the whole family.

In this section you will find local and national information to support your child through transition.
Transition Support Project for Calderdale Primary Schools
The Calderdale Transition Support Project (TSP) involves a partnership of local organisations working together to support children, parents/carers and school staff. The service supports students in years 5 & 6 to manage the emotional impact of transition from primary school to secondary school. Due to the current situation, some of the delivery is currently carried out remotely via phone or videoconferencing. This will be regularly reviewed in line with government guidance and the practicalities of social distancing.
